6 Years Woot Woot

Today marks our sixth anniversary! I am proud to say it's been an excellent ride on this roller coaster of marriage. Here is a poem I wrote today dedicated to my one and only...

Wow how six years have flown by,

and I've spent them with the greatest guy.
He is my lover, best friend and sweetie pie,

always making me laugh until I cry.
I can't imagine my life without him,
Life without would be like missing a limb.
He is the greatest and inspires me daily,
One day I will have his baby.

I love and adore you my sweet Kyle,
Not a day goes by that you don't make me smile.

Happy Anniversary Baby!! Love you!
Looking forward to infinity and beyond!

Look-A-Like

So many people tell us who they think Maggie looks like. Some say Chewbacca from Star Wars. Others say an Ewok. And we've even heard that she looks like The Berenstain Bears (my favorite childhood books). My question to you is
WHO DO YOU THINK MAGGIE LOOKS LIKE????

Easter Earthquake

Shake rattle and roll. We have felt a couple minor shakes in the past few years that we have lived in California, but today was for sure the largest quake we have ever experienced. It was measured a 7.2 on the richter scale with the epicenter only about 118 miles away from us. Kyle and I spent our lovely Easter morning working at The Sofia Hotel (ugggh), we had just arrived home in our parking lot when we started to feel it. I thought that Kyle was revving the gas and pushing on the break making the car shake even though we were parked. It was super crazy feeling and then we realized it was an earthquake and jumped out of the car. We are all safe but it was definitely a new experience for us. We will keep you posted if we feel anymore rumbling from the earth here in San Diego.

L.A. Trip

Over the weekend we were able to take a trip to Los Angeles with our friends Pops and Chellor. There were some areas of LA that we visited that I've never seen before. The Fashion district was crazy, it felt like we weren't even in the U.S. We also visited the Old Down Town district which was super beautiful and amazing. We drove to LA live and New Down Town to view the modern architecture. But one of the highlights of the trip was visiting the spot that one of our favorite movies was filmed "500 days of Summer". There is a bench that Tom and Summer visit and we sought out to find that park and that bench. We found it and got some great pics. We also drove around Beverly Hills stalked celeb houses, but couldn't see much because they are covered with some mighty hedges. We satisfied our sugar crave at my favorite cupcake place "Crumbs" and then topped off the night visiting the Hollywood sign. We had a blast and I actually found some cool places in LA that I could live in, who knows Kyle could get an intern or job offer in that city.
